Sharon Martin was a beloved member of our PYC family who will be dearly missed. As an admired parent mentor, she shared her creative talents and creativity with our youth. One instance comes to mind when she volunteered to teach jewelry making at the beginning of one of our meetings. With patience and care, she shared her creativity and knowledge with the youth. It was amazing how beautiful the pieces turned out. As a valuable PYC adult volunteer, she gave her time and design talents to assist with the website, designed event invitations and more. Always ready and willing to help, it was not uncommon to see her assisting at monthly meetings helping with meals in the kitchen or in a group youth session.

We have fun memories of a service project where we all worked together to help with trail maintenance and other improvements at a local equine facility. Her friendly, cheerful personality and beautiful smile would always light up a room. As a cherished friend, she was caring and very thoughtful. Always thinking of others, she made everyone she met feel welcomed and cared about. As a loving wife and mother, she brought Carl and Erik along with her into our circle where many great friendships have been made. Sharon has given so much to so many in PYC by simply being the amazing woman she was. Our years together have flown by so quickly. We are so thankful to have had the honor of getting to know Sharon and the good fortune to call her our friend.
A Sharon Martin Memorial Fund is being created to use toward activities to honor Sharon. It is with great honor that we accept any donations to benefit this fund. For those who wish to donate, checks should be made out to "Palisades Youth Crew" and mailed to:
